We want you to be certain you love the artwork you select. Renting lets you live with a painting before making the commitment to purchase it. Although you can rent any work of art for as long as you like, at the end of each rental term you have the option to buy the work. We will apply the rental fees paid toward the purchase price.
Gallery Hi Art leasing program is a convenient, flexible and economical way for clients to enjoy fine art in their homes and offices. Leasing is also available for special events and for home staging.
Artwork Leasing Terms
The leasing agreement is made directly between you (the client) and Gallery Hi Art (the gallery.) No outside leasing company is involved.
Weekly payments for the leasing are 5% of the price of the leased artwork.
Monthly payments for the leasing are 10% of the price of the leased artwork.
Term : Minimum term is one week.
Maximum leasing term: there is no limit to the time that the client lease the artwork.
Termination: You, (the client), may purchase the leased artwork at anytime. We ask that you, (the client), not de-install or move the artwork as damages may occur in the process – any such damages will be deducted from your security deposit.
Security deposit: 100% original price of the leased artwork.
Buyout : You, (the client), may purchase the leased artwork at anytime. All leasing charges paid (excluding installation charges) during the term will be credited toward the buyout price.
Installation cost: If the artwork be installed by the gallery installation team, the base installation charge is $200 which entitles you, (the client), up to 1 hours of onsite installation services.
These fees are for installation in Toronto only.
Artwork Selection: Artwork doesn’t always look exactly the same on a monitor as it does in person. To avoid costly mistakes, we recommend that you, (the client), view the artwork at our gallery before leasing it.
